It started on 4 May 2026, as a small tracking exercise on Tamil Nadu's 2026 election results day. I wanted a clean view of what was happening, seat by seat. The press did good work, but news is news. It moves fast, prioritises the headline, and rarely has space for the structural picture.
Following the new government through the first weeks, I kept noticing that the most useful information was already public. It was just scattered. A G.O. published here. A press note there. A DIPR tweet later. No single place to see how the state actually moves.
So this is a quiet attempt to put it in one place. Not journalism. Not authoritative. Just a citizen's compilation, with every entry cited and a clear, honest framing of what is verified versus what is reported.
Who builds this.
Vinay Chandrasekaran. Tamil Nadu-born, based in Silicon Valley, building in AI. No political affiliation. No commercial interest in this. The goal is to learn how government actually works, and to give back what I learn by making it queryable for anyone else who wants the same view.
